Suspect In Franklin Drug Bust Escapes New Hampshire Courthouse

New Hampshire State Police and Franklin police are searching for a suspect who escaped from the Franklin Courthouse Monday morning.
Roger "Bonzy" Thibeault, 44, was under arrest on possession with intent to distribute heroin charges. Franklin police said he ran out of the courthouse and a search for him began immediately.

New Hampshire State Police searched from the air, while a K-9 unit was brought in to assist with the search on the ground, but as of Monday afternoon, Thibeault had still not been found. Police said he does have family in the Franklin area. Police have not yet released a description of the suspect.

Thibeault was arrested as part of a heroin drug bust. Also arrested in that roundup were Shaun White, 23; Susan Benwell, 29; and Jason Corgatelli, 28, all three from Franklin, New Hampshire and all charged with possession of heroin. Also arrested on a charge of selling cocaine was Susan Hobson, 44, of Franklin.

Police said additional arrests were expected it what was the largest heroin bust in Franklin area history. Police said they confiscated more than 450 bags of heroin, some marijuana, a variety of prescription drugs and a large sum of money allegedly from drug proceeds. The bust was the culmination of a yearlong investigation, New Hampshire police said.
